Summary
Elena had lost any hope of ever feeling the sun on her skin. After years of captivity from a group hell bent on creating their own form of sorcery by subjecting horrific experiments on unwilling humans, turning them into subservient beasts. Elena's one of few whose body refuse to fully change, and lived through it.
Until she is granted a chance to escape, and finds herself in unfamiliar land, whose inhabitants mark Elena's unnatural existence as dangerous and hunt her down.
Trying to survive with seemingly the entire world against her, including her own body. Elena must find a way to break the curse that is slowly devouring what is left of her sanity before it's too late. With or without the help of the mercenary that chooses to spare her life.

Summary
