Shouto drifts, drowning in fears of the past while Katsuki's all but forgotten what it means to trust. They're a little messed up, but maybe that's okay. Maybe they can be a little messed up together.

Katsuki glares at Shouto, but the expression doesn’t hold any bite. “You ah… you’re a really fucking good kisser, you know that?”
“Mm,” Shouto hums. “So you want to try again?”
There’s a moment of hesitation, a brief pause as the question hovers between them in the dim evening air. It seems like time has stopped for that moment, shifted and stilled until the music fades away and it’s just the two of them, standing there under the cherry blossom trees with the lights shining down around them and turning Katsuki’s eyes to liquid amber.
“Fuck yeah.”
Katsuki’s been pining for years, and Shouto isn’t sure how he only just noticed.

The man nods slowly, seemingly contemplating the idea. “I gave you my jacket.”
Katsuki opens his mouth to argue, pauses, then closes it again with a snap. He looks down at the jacket wrapped around himself, suddenly reluctant to argue in case the man demands his jacket back. Now that he’s wrapped in its warmth, he doesn’t think he can stand having it ripped away and being left to the cruel, biting wind. “Tch. Whatever.”
Shouto sets fire to the dorm kitchens and Katsuki’s left to either fend for himself in the cold, or follow a stranger into the snowy night.

“Fucking say it then.”
“I can’t see.”
“We know you can’t see, where are your damn glasses?”
“No Bakugo.” Shoto’s voice was hollow, quieter than it needed to be. He cleared his throat trying to speak louder this time. “I mean I can’t see, anything.”
Bakugo still didn’t know what that meant, so he put a hand in front of Todoroki’s face to confirm his suspicions. Tried doing all he could to make Half n Half flinch or blink or just about anything. But his idiot classmate stood there unmoving, not making any sort of reaction or response to it all.
Or
Todoroki is unsure why he’s going blind, and Bakugo – even though he hates this fucker with all his might – attempts to help this poor extra, as they both go through the days in denial about their newly formed crushes on each other.

He curses himself sitting on the bathroom floor, back leaned against the stall door. He reaches for the toilet paper with trembling hands, blows his nose, coughing at the acidic burn in his throat. It’s not just his hands that’s trembling, his whole body is shaking, heat spreading all over in waves, sweat trickling down his face along with the tears forcing their way out from his eyes. He can’t tell if it’s from the purging or if he’s actually crying.
