Instead, I end up in the orbit of an ancient, unreasonably angry supernatural creature who has no problem ripping out throats and an unsettling habit of keeping me alive. And why does Katherine, despite their constant arguments, feel like he is the only person on the planet who can understand her?
Could it be that these two have not indeed felt hatred for one another for the past five centuries, but rather passion? Defined by any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love or hate.

It was Albus's hope that Calanthe would be taken in by Vernon and Petunia Durlsey, but unknown to him, a famous vampire, Klaus Mikaelson, had stumbled upon the loud crying baby, and, doing something he promised he would never do again, he took her in, caring for her and becoming her father. This started a chain of events. Calanthe Potter would not step into Hogwarts weak and scared, but strong, confident, and with an affinity for violence and control. She wouldn't be a lion, but a vicious snake with venomous poison.

You see he knew that Harry Potter would now be old enough to attend a school, he'd done the maths, and while the whole of wizarding Britain assumed that the boy would attend Hogwarts, like all good British wizards should, Igor thought he might offer the boy an alternative to try to persuade the young 'saviour' to his school. He could already imagine the coup it would be to pull that feather right from under Dumbledore's nose and, luckily for him, Harry Potter doesn't even seem to need that much persuading.
Join Harry as he learns to be a wizard in a very different magical environment and see the changes that can happen when you are free to make your own choices in life.

He seemed incredibly familiar, but at the same time she was absolutely sure she’d never met him in her life. He had dark, wavy blonde hair and sharp blue eyes, his red lips looking like they were made for smirking even if they were just lightly parted in disbelief right now. His features looked like they were carved out of marble from the devil himself. He was so unfairly attractive that Cassiopeia honestly just wanted to punch him, especially as she remembered he’d just been holding her throat and pinning her to a wall.
