DRABBLE - Missionary Clarke stranded on an island encounters tribal Lexa. Set around the 15th century and is choke full of period typical racial vocabulary AND there's a big helping of anti-colonialist/anti-religion themes. Since this is basically sex with a theme - the ideas, thoughts, criticisms are not expanded on, only hinted at. Any serious reflection on the themes would appear in the plot if I ever got to actually write it. As such, the story has the potential to trigger people. You've been warned, please consider if the story is appropriate for you.

Lets just say that Nevermore Academy is unique in this way too, people can attend at whatever age (like some of the vampires who have been there for decades).

Disillusioned with love, Lexa publishes an advertisement in an American newspaper, hoping to find herself a wife. She soon finds, however, that she got much more than she bargained for. Her waltz into darkness is inevitable.
If you've seen the movie, the story will not present many surprising turns. If you have not, I would recommend only watching it after reading the story if you want to keep the mystery intact :)

It's happening. I am back with a story. Nope, the 1/7 is not a trick of your eyes. I've learned from my past mistakes and refrained from publishing anything until the story was more or less written. I'll be publishing the chapters as I edit them.
NOTE for the Victorian AU readers: I have not abandoned that story either, but I was not in a fluffy enough mood to continue and it's too close to my heart to ruin it by changing the tone mid-story. I will definitely be updating the Vic fic when inspiration finally strikes.
