This piques Stiles’ interest. Oh yes it does. Like any good true crime aficionado, Stiles has his favourite case. His pet cold case. His hometown murder. The thing he brings up when he’s tired of small talk and just wants to get real.
The Hale Family Fire and the suicide of Katherine Argent.
Stiles knows this case inside and out. He’s racked up thousands of karma points on reddit for his thoughtful analysis, his pictures of the crime scene, and of his reporting of local gossip. Beacon Hills is a small town, small enough that Stiles is the only one on the Unresolved Mysteries subreddit to have actually seen the burnt out shell in person.
He’ll tell anyone who listens what he finds fascinating about the case. Absolutely no shame. He’s read all of the articles, he’s pestered his father’s deputies for more information, and he’s read every cold case compilation book that so much as mentions it.
No one knows this case like Stiles does.

Omaigaaaaah la autora (que yo sepa) sabe cómo hacer buenos fics! No soy mucho de romance oscuro ni tantas cosas turbias pero este fic es muy bueno, es entre lindo y entre espeluznante pero a la vez te da ese toque que se necesita para seguir leyendo, acá unos extractos que me gustaron mucho!
"Es obsceno, los sonidos, los olores, el sabor a sudor en la boca de Stiles. Se siente como amor, cada detalle."
Acá no tengo que decir mucho pero entre lo peeturbador de Derek y lo perverso de Stiles hacen uno
"Al final, Allison tenía razón: Stiles es posesivo y obsesivo con cualquiera con quien salga.
A Derek no le importa en absoluto. Stiles lo tiene todo para él, para siempre. Lo supo desde el primer momento en que se arrodilló."

Summary
Stiles was all odd angles and squirming. He shoved words into spaces where they shouldn’t go. He stood his ground when he should have run. He helped and protected Derek and the pack without ever asking for anything in return. Derek found himself wanting a lot of things from Stiles that he hadn’t allowed himself to want from anyone in a long time, which made Stiles feel like a cliff that he was in danger of leaping off of.
