He’s strong, the strongest mortal soldier to have ever lived, but this monster is beyond what any mortal can handle. Percy can tell that its on the level of the gods themselves.
Percy makes the mistake of looking behind him. The sea monster is terrifying. Its frontal fangs are three times the length of Percy’s body. Its skin is dark gray and scaly like a drakon. This one is far bigger than the two hundred foot drakon Clairsse fought in the battle of Manhattan. Percy had struggled against it, even with Mrs. O’Leary’s considerable help. This one is easily twice that size.
He doesn’t stand a chance against it.
Aka: Poseidon defends his son from one of Oceanus's skyscraper sized monsters.
