Summary
Kakashi laughed softly, and it was like music to Obito. It made him feel warm, like drinking hot tea on a chilly afternoon. He originally was determined to stay silent, and for this to be his last venture to the shrine for good, only being here to satiate his interest in the man.
But each moment he spent here, watching, listening to Kakashi, had him already thinking of how he would come back again tomorrow. How he wanted to be acknowledged by him, wanted him to also anticipate the reaper’s return. Wanted to be wanted in the same way that Obito was now wanting Kakashi.
So he threw caution to the wind.

Summary
His last thought before letting go was of regret: regret that he inflicted so much pain to the world, to Kakashi, that he wishes that if he could change one thing: it would be that none of the tragedy that led up to their present ever happened.
Instead of waking up in the Pure Lands, Uchiha Obito finds himself stuck in the past thirty-one years before the Fourth War without Hashirama's cells.

Summary
Obito doesn’t know what brought him here — well, that’s a lie. There’s no memorial stone for him to mope around, copying Kakashi’s tendencies, and so he’s left with the cemetery.
Hatake Sakumo’s grave seems like the right option — ideal for brooding about the possible future, his choices, and the fact that he shouldn’t be here.
“One suicide victim to another, how come someone like me is brought back? You’re a much better choice.”
Or, after dying in the Fourth War, Obito wakes up in the past. Problems transpire.
