Life is going great for Sirius Black. He recently got married to the love of his life, and his fashion design career is really taking off. He never thought he would make it this far in life.
After running away when he was only sixteen , Sirius never kept tabs on his good-for-nothing parents. They could rot in hell for all he cared.
So imagine his and Remus’s surprise when he receives a phone call from an unknown French hospital. The lady on the other side of the call exclaims in way too cheery French that:
His parents are dead.
He has a little brother.
Said brother is nine years old.
He is now the legal guardian of his new little brother- Regulus, that’s his name.
Regulus was going to move in with him next weekend.

Summary
Regulus Black survives the cave, rescued by Death Eaters, and is used as blackmail to lure members of the Order into the Death Eater headquarters. Regulus grapples with the thought of people he hasn’t seen in months, struggling to believe they’ll come to his rescue. He is tortured by estranged family before three of the most important people in his life come to save him. The reunion is bittersweet as they discover Regulus is not only alive, but had betrayed Voldemort in efforts to kill him.
