9-1-1 AU: Evan Buckley was born to be the Savior of his older brother Daniel, so once Daniel was given the all-clear three years after baby Evan was born, the Buckley’s no longer had a reason for their unwanted third child.
A road trip and an out of the way fire station in Saint Paul, Minnesota and then a swift move to Hershey, Pennsylvania; the family of four went forward with their lives as though baby Evan never even exited. Until bruises reappeared on Daniel over two decades later….
...but the question remains: where is Evan Buckley?

Eddie's words were always present on his mind every time his leg ached, every time he was insulted by someone on his shift, every time Bobby told him "My house, my rules."
Until one day, he arrived at Maddie's house and found two other men with her.
They had come all the way from Hawaii just to check on him.

Post-Lawsuit. Anonymous complaints. The Chief of the LAFD has had enough of the 118’s behaviour, so he puts in a call to his old friend Wallace Boden; after all, they’d been thinking of updating their command structure and operations anyway. Boden, along with his top two teams at Chicago Firehouse 51, arrive in L.A. to show the 118 a thing or two about teamwork and family. What they don’t expect is to find Evan “Buck” Buckley-Severide in the middle of it.
Bobby and co thought all they had to lose was their firehouse. As it turns out, they should have been more worried about losing Buck to the 51.
