Summary
Glinda is an up and coming Hollywood starlet, ready to step out of the shadow of her more famous older sister. Elphaba is a newcomer to acting whose few acting credits have already attracted positive buzz. When they're cast opposite each other in director Oscar Diggs's newest film they're both aware that the movie could jumpstart their fledgling careers. Even more exciting, they'll be filming on location with their sisters. But after early (not incorrect) rumors suggest the leads don't get along, the studio steps in by suggesting the girls go on a couple of dates to generate favorable press. But when the film starts filming in the UK manufactured feelings for the screen begin to turn into something deeper. Can their burgeoning relationship become something real, when faced with the challenges of filming abroad, the rigor of an international press tour, and the pressure they both feel to become stars in their own right?
