He finds a different way in a book of love stories: Huātǔbìng, Hanahaki, The Flower Curse. For someone like Lan Wangji who seldom has the words to express his emotions and whose face is as unmoving as the mountain that he calls his home, there’s a certain undeniable romanticism to this curse.
OR Lan Wangji decides to use the fictional Hanahaki disease to confess his feelings to Wei Ying. Things don't turn out the way he plans.
