Senjuro shakes his head. “I’m not my brother though.” The pain and weight of that sentence runs deeper than Senjuro could ever hope to convey; Deeper than he cares to admit, even on the nights he lays awake, blanketed in his own failures.
“So you’re ready to give up then?”
“No,” he answers, more confidently than expected.
Akaza smirks. “Then perhaps you’re more similar to him than you realize.”

“Why are you so obsessed with me?”
The Pillar said coldly.
The demon’s eyes widened and his face went a pale red.
