She felt her girls kneel down on either side of her. She didn’t have to look up to see them starting to help with the knots.
“I could have done it.” She chuckled lowly.
“Yeah, you could have.” Zoey cheered. “But where's the fun in that?”
“You think this is fun? I think we might need to get your head checked.” Mira scoffed.
Zoey giggled. “More fun than figuring out how those oversized sticks connected!”
“True that.” Mira smirked.
“Why don’t you guys just sew these together? Why tie them?” Rumi asked, finally looking up at her girls.
Mira and Zoey shared a look.
“...We didn’t realize that was an option.”

Mira was well out of her depth. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to think of what to do, but the snarls in it from sleep just frustrated her. “You’re okay, shit. It’s okay. Breathe Rumes” Mira took another step forwards, but hesitated as Rumi tried to curl up on herself even more.
“I- I’m sorry- I’ll fix it- please- please don’t- PLEASE!”
She sobbed. Mira’s heart broke. She had never seen Rumi like this. What could have-

Summary
Rumi didn’t need much sleep. It had always been like that. A few hours, maybe twice a week, and she was right as rain. Sleep deprivation could still get to her, but even when running on no sleep for weeks, it didn’t hit her as hard as it should have.
This had, understandably, caused some problems early on in the Huntr/x debut. Celine had been such a workaholic, often awake for multiple days in a row before she crashed, that Rumi had simply forgotten that normal people were supposed to sleep so much.
When Huntr/x had moved in together, Rumi had made some mistakes, frequently being caught awake at odd hours of the night, in the recording studio, or her little office space, making food in the kitchen, catching up on a show while she crocheted. And it had understandably worried her new bandmates. After all, people needed sleep, and it seemed like Rumi was never getting enough.
Rumi had gotten better at hiding it after the intervention. A laptop in her room to work on, her yarn under her bed, a drawer of protein bars and other small snacks. She made it work, but in all honesty, she had been lonely.
Or, Rumi doesn't need much sleep, and participates in healthy communication to not isolate herself.

Valerie, Sam, Tucker, and Jazz are nearly ripping their hair out with all the new messes their reckless halfa is getting into with other super heroes.
Amity Park was cheering on their local hero as he became a hero of the world. The GiW and Fenton Parents were scowling and wondering how he fooled the Justice League.
The Ghost Zone knows he's their king but he doesn't know it yet. They all collectively agree to keep an eye out for the baby ghost king and make sure his new friends don't try anything stupid.
The Original Justice League members have no clue who this sassy dead child is but he's theirs now and they are trying to not have heart attacks with some of the things he says and does.
This should be interesting.
