He looked away from the time, guilt growing as he wished he could sleep. Seriously, I know I embody anxiety, but this is just annoying. He sighed.
Thumbing the off button, he sat up in his bed. His room was a mess of spooky, kooky, and all around ooky. The Halloween decorations were still up from last year, paired with random dark and purple clothes around any and every spare surface. Fake cobwebs and spiders riddled the corners of his room.

They set down the dagger and dipped the three inner fingers into the new wound that was dripping ever so softly onto the grass.
Two Time traced out the inner circle of the Spawn symbol, then painfully painted out the spikes and half-loops with their blood. They then drop some of their blood onto Azures torso. The Spawn must know who this sacrifice comes from, and a bit of extra blood shows their dedication, right? It must.
Or, Two Times experience after killing Azure and the denial that follows. Might be ooc D:) beware!

Techno swallows. Fourteen. He can deal with this. “Fourteen,” he repeats. Tommy nods slowly, grip still harsh on his stake. “That’s still too young to be bitten.”
Tommy lowers the stake slightly—he lets out a sad, wet chuckle. “Like I had a choice,” he says. “Nobody does.”
Techno is a vampire. Tommy is a vampire hunter who just so happens to also be a vampire.

Summary
Set after Spiderman Homecoming.
After May Parker’s tragic death, Peter is left more alone then ever. It seems that the only person he really has is himself, and he’s just trying to survive. Peter’s just trying to balance his school scholarship, his part-time internship at Stark Industries, being a teen vigilante, and trying to learn how to survive all on his own.
Everything seems to be too much for the teenager, who can’t seem to ever catch a break.

Meanwhile, the Avengers are trying to hunt him down for reasons completely unknown to Peter. They have one mission: to track Spiderman down and bring him into SHIELD. They don’t realize the “threat” they’re chasing after is just a broken teenager without anyone looking out for him.

Tbh this could end at chap 14, and id be satisfied. Its a nice ending point, and i really enjoyed this fic. It reminds me of a fix-it-fic (i just looked and it is... oops!) And i really enjoy that. I never really indulge in fix-its, so this was a warm welcome!

100% recommend reading. I really love this characterization of peter parker, because he feels more like a modern teenager that swears 24/7 vs a teen that has been written and rewritten over the course of an odd number of decades.

That's also the Winter Soldier's job, isn't it? To protect Bucky? And there's nothing here that's putting Bucky in danger. So Jake Lockley gives it a try: talking to the Winter Soldier. And strangely enough it works.
