Satoru dumped the twins back onto the sofa, effectively sandwiching Megumi between them.
“Sing, Gumi! It’s the law of the house!” Nanako yelled, grabbing Megumi’s hands and trying to force him to clap along.
“No! Get off!” Megumi muffled.
“TELL ME WHY!” Satoru cried, reaching a hand out toward Megumi as if pleading for his very life.
“Ain’t nothin’ but a heartaaaaaaa-che!” Nanako and Mimiko shrieked back, jumping onto the sofa cushions and flanking Megumi like professional backup dancers.

When Suguru has to leave early for an emergency mission in Kyoto, Satoru is left in charge of getting the kids ready for school. Without Suguru there to maintain order, Satoru decides that the usual rules are officially out the window—much to Megumi's distress

Suguru flinched as if he’d been physically slapped. The air leaving his lungs in a sharp, pained hiss, but Megumi was far from finished. He stepped forward, his chest heaving, his face contorted into something unrecognizable.
"YOU’RE A COWARD WHO HIDES BEHIND HIS FAME BECAUSE YOU’RE TOO AFRAID TO BE A REAL FATHER—"
He never finished that sentence.

The dining table groaned under the force. Satoru, who had been sitting in silence peeling a pear, had his palm flat against the wood. The small paring knife skidded across the grain and clattered onto the marble floor, the ringing metal the only sound in the sudden vacuum of the room.
"You do not talk to my husband like that."

"Miki, Nana, Mimi," Satoru shouted. "Get him."
The girls didn't need a second invitation; with a collective shriek, they dove to grab the extra flour.
"Noooo!" Suguru laughed, turning on his heels to protect Megumi from the first wave of incoming flour. He ducked behind the kitchen island. "I’m the one who makes the hot chocolate. You’re biting the hand that feeds you!"
"Oh, we’re not biting it," Satoru declared, charging around the island with his hands coated in white. "We’re seasoning it!"

How a peaceful Christmas cookie-baking session turned into an all-out war after Megumi accidentally sneezed a cloud of flour onto Satoru’s face. Between dodging flying sprinkles and flour, Satoru and Suguru realize that even with a ruined kitchen, it really is the best Christmas ever.

Satoru’s shoulders slumped in Suguru’s hands. He fell silent as he let out a long, dramatic sigh that puffed out his cheeks. For a few seconds, he just stared at a very specific patch of grass near Suguru’s left shoe.
“Fine, I...” Rubbing the back of his neck, Satoru murmured, “It’s a project for the, uh... living room.”
“A custom masonry chimney and a full-sized wood-burning fireplace, sir,” the worker added, hoping to be helpful.
“.......A what?”

A story about Satoru Gojo having too much money and how a construction crew shows up to excavate their living room because Satoru wanted a realistic Christmas aesthetic. Suguru was unaware of this whole plan, but his mother was not.(Also featuring Satoru being bullied by toddlers and Megumi proving that he is, officially, the head of the household)

Yuuji stops dead in his tracks, turning around and meeting the green eyes he's only seen in his dreams for the last 5 years. He tries to say something, but he can't think of anything, so he just dumbly stares, mouth agape.
Megumi's shocked expression is quickly replaced with anger. "What the fuck? Like actually? What's wrong with you?"
"I-I'm sorry. I'll just... go..." Yuuji turns around, but a hand grips his arm, keeping him in place.
"No."
He looks at Megumi confused.
"No, you're not leaving me. Not again." His face is stone hard, stubbornly devoid of emotion, which- even after years of not talking- Yuuji knows means he's suppressing an overload of bitter feelings, and rightfully so.
"I'm sorry. You know I had to."
"No Yuuji. Fuck, we were right there. We were trying to help you. I needed you and you left," he takes in a shaky breath. "I still need you."

Suguru is fairly certain this argument was originally about the fall of Rome. As to why Gojo’s bringing up Marx, he has no clue; Gojo’s certainly not stupid enough to think whatever bullshit he’s currently spouting is relevant to their conversation. Suguru can only imagine it’s part of some sort of master scheme designed to annoy him enough to eventually drop out and ensure Gojo’s rank as number one in the class.
Tough shit, then. Suguru’s stubborn.
