Summary
Hailey and Jay were happy, but when Jay had to go back to Afghanistan leaving Hailey alone with 12-years-old daughter and newborn son it wasn't ease for her, but she understood that Jay had serious reasons to go back there, so she respected that, but when he came back after a few months nothingwas the same. After more than 2 years, Hailey hears that Jay was in an accident in the line of duty and is now fighting for his life. Will this bring them together? After 2 years of breakup, will they give each other a second chance? Would they dare to start over? And will they try again for their son?

Aftermath of Jay leaving for Bolivia a few months later. Hailey has to grapple with her conflicting feelings of love, sadness, anger, and betrayal all while managing with what Jay left behind for her. Jay has to grapple with the consequences of his choices too.
