Summary
He finds Scar lying flat on his back, eyes open. He doesn't even turn his head when he hears Grian's approaching footsteps. He just shimmies over to make room.
The anger from the day has not faded so much as congealed. He feels it sitting heavy in the pit of his stomach, tangled in a messy ball of a million other emotions he won't even attempt to decode.
Grian is angry, but he is tired, and he hasn't been able to sleep through the night on his own since that first game, like his body still carries the muscle memory and refuses to let it go.
He slips into Scar's bed.

Summary
It's a cold, empty cave. Scar is sitting next to a stalagmite, leaning on it, his back to Grian. He's hunched in on himself, carefully placing torches around.
"Scar," Grian says, and his voice echoes through the dark. Scar doesn't twitch.
"Hello, Grian," he says, not moving to look at him. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"What are you doing here?" Grian asks. The silence is loud here, reverberating across the room. "Did you burn down my base, Scar."
This time, Scar does turn to look at him, barely a shift of the head that lets Grian see half of his face. There's something dangerous in his eyes.
"You didn't need it anymore," Scar says, and Grian stammers.
"I—what do you mean, I didn't need it? It's my base! It's our base, even! What's gotten into you, Scar?"
Scar scoffs. Grian hasn't heard a sound like that come from him in ages.
"Sure," Scar says, mocking. "Our base." He turns back around. "Just leave me alone, Grian, and go play house with your new little soulmate."

Kyle Broflovski, the second smartest kid in his graduating class and a proud Jew, curly red hair and green eyes being the most noticeable features of the tall boy.
Stan Marsh, former goth kid with bleached hair and roots that never failed to show whenever he re-dyed, currently dating his schools president, Wendy.
The two were inseparable since birth, so it wasn’t too surprising that one had harbored feelings for the other since elementary school, the other just beginning to realize how much he loved his super best friend.

Stan and Kyle are both crushing, on fairly equal amounts, and are at the same time as blind as the other. With senior year already feeling halfway over, Stan and Kyle need to figure out what their ‘super best friendship’ really means.
