Summary
Stormterror wreaks havoc on the city of Mondstadt, and from the skies, a golden ball of light strikes the earth. Venti feels caught between these events, but that bright ball of starlight proves to be worth the struggle when an infant dragon falls into the Wind God's hands. That little dragon calls himself Aether, and this is where his journey begins, as a fledgling with his powers and ability to fly stripped away while he was in the sky. He needs to grow up and regain his power to have any chance of finding his lost sister in this vast world.

The Brotherhood's presence in the afterlife leaves a lot to be desired, but Desmond doesn't have the standing or the drive to try fixing it fresh from Earth. He's ready to live and let live, until a certain media mogul declares war on Heaven, and Desmond decides he has to act, Brotherhood's backing or not.
That he ends up crossing paths with Lucifer Morningstar, originator of humanity's free will, is a bonus perk he's not going to pass up.

She made it out alive but at what cost? She’d lost her hat, her sword, and worst of all, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata’s Divine Wisdom penned in a book was lost to the sands.
And now Juni’s belly down in the dust, sandstone hard against her hips. “Lizards,” she mutters, watching Liyue Monitors clamber about, as long as a man and likely twice her weight. “It had to be lizards.” Her eyes flick upwards, landing on the chiseled face of Rex Lapis, carved into the temple wall. She winces. “Sorry. My Lord. Uh, if you’re listening.”

More like a rag-tag bunch of barely functioning immortals hanging on by minimal threads of sanity. Morax is exhausted just thinking about it.

Personality.There is one God that almost all servants don’t know much about. But, apparently, that’s because barely anyone is ever assigned to them and the ones that are, are either bullied off that mountain or never seen again…
If one was to give up their position as a servant to their God, the rest of their life is one of misery. No one gets to be re-assigned and no family accepts back, a runaway. “No, not quite,” Albedo gently chews on his lower lip in contemplation on how to simplify the concept. “The Ley Lines hold memories of everything that has ever happened in the world. It appears that this Ley Line disorder has converged the past memories with our current memories.”
Kaeya cocks his head to the side, “So we’re currently in the past?”
“I suppose you could put it like that, but it’s more like our past and our present have collided.”
“So, time travel?”
Albedo sighs, “Sure, let’s call it that.”
A growing string of disappearing people, a catastrophic Ley Line disorder, a chaotic space and a convoluted Fatui plot throws much of Mondstadt into a not-so-distant past, surrounded by uncomfortably familiar faces.
Unfortunately for Kaeya, this means forgoing a much-needed vacation to figure out what is actually going on, which is quite difficult when a certain Inspector keeps getting in the way.
And all the while grappling with the presence of a boy who looks and sounds like Diluc, but is someone far different than the man that Diluc has become.
Gods, he could really go for a drink right about now.

When rain and debt and bad timing finally push them back under the same roof, Kaveh discovers what’s been living between the lines of Alhaitham’s life this whole time: a vow he never said out loud, and doesn’t quite know how to return.

Resigned to a short world of pain before violent death, Aether’s only comfort is that Lumine might still have a chance to safely live on without him.
Then he actually meets the dragon, with its warm scales and amber eyes. And as the seasons turn and change, he finds himself daring to hope for just a little more after all…
