He blinked sluggishly, rolling onto his front. He had tried to draw to take his mind off these feelings, but he couldn't hold the stupid pencil. He hadn't even gone out for lunch...
"MIKEY!" He heard Raph call, making him wince. Raph's loud voice didn't do his head any favors... "COME ON, TIME FOR PATROL!"
Humming slightly, Michelangelo forced himself to move, swaying on the spot. Oh, shell... everything was spinning and he felt too hot-
Hold up.
He froze on the spot. Slowly, he put the back of his hand against his forehead. He... he was warm. Really warm...
Burning throat, trouble breathing, shaky limbs, tiredness, loss of appetite...
"...Oh my shell." Mikey groaned, covering his face with his hands. He couldn't be serious...
Did he seriously brush a fever off for his asthma all day?

Mikey not realizing that no, not being able to stand or hold anything, for everything to feel hot and cold and his head in the clouds, is not just "something else his body does"

They’re barely home for an hour when Casey’s breath catches in his throat.
It’s sudden enough that he chokes mid-word and starts to cough, his body trying to clear its airway except that there isn’t any blockage there to dislodge. When he finally manages to suck in a breath that fills his lungs halfway, it rattles in with an audible reedy wheeze.
Maybe no one noticed, he thinks hysterically, and lifts his eyes to find his entire not-family staring at him from their various positions around the room.

Summary
Donnie collided with Leo in a tangle of limbs. There was an instinctive cling in return from his twin, before the realization sunk in.
"No." Leo breathed in his ear, immediately shattered. "No, no, no, no, no!”
Every muscle in Donnie's body was shaking like an earthquake from the amount of effort he'd just expended. The explosion caught up to them, sending the twins spiralling away into space and debris.
For one singular moment, Donnie allowed himself a burst of victory. His heart was still thudding a thousand miles an hour in his chest, having been absolutely terrified he wasn't going to make it in time. But he did. And he held onto Leo, his prize.
Then they hit the ground, the sudden tumble bursting them apart. Donnie felt the world spin, rapid and disorientating, before he slammed into something rock and cracking under his impact.

Leonardo managed to squeeze out only a strangled squeak. His heart was pounding wildly in his chest, fueling the rising panic. He looked at Raph, in whose arms he was lying, but saw only darkening, merging blotches. Then he cast a terrified glance at Donnie, meeting the same frightened, blurred face. Finally, his gaze landed on Mikey — unable to make out any features as his silhouette dissolved into the darkness.
"Guys…" Leo said in a breaking voice, swallowing thick saliva. "I… I can’t see anything."

After a battle with a mysterious yokai, Leo loses his sight.
