Summary
Abby and Luka have moved to Boston and are getting their lives back together. They make the decision to really move forward by learning to talk to each other better. There will be couples therapy, talking on their own, etc. Also fluff, daily lives, moments in each of their work places etc. Hoping to do what the show failed at, IMO (though I loved their ending). In order to live happily ever after, they need to put in the work.

Look, I know damn well that Carter wouldn’t cheat on Abby. Point here is, neither would Luka. Neither one of them ever cheats on anyone on the show. That’s the point here, and if you don’t get it, that’s a you problem. It’s hilarious to me that people make Luka out of character (cheating, abusive, uncaring asshole) in order to make Carby a thing again since they didn’t get their way and their endgame. You don’t have to hate and disparage and disrespect half of the endgame ship (one with a child who is loved VERY much by both of his parents) to make yours sail again. So am I trolling here? A bit. But turnabout is FairPlay. I can make Carter just as out of character as y’all make Luka.

This will be a series of one-shots. I have several headcanons that have been banging around and decided “Hey, I should write these!”. Most stories are just my interpretation of scenes we know happened (or at least assume), but were never seen in canon. Some may be short scenes that I’ve imagined post-canon for Abby and Luka, but don’t fit into my main fic for one reason or another.
I’ve given the entire thing an M rating because you never know when these two lovebirds are going to jump each other.

Originally posted on Indeath.net waaaaaay back in the day. Recently found, and thought I would transfer it over. This is just for fun. A little In Death/Three Sisters Island crossover. Rated mature for language and mild smut. This was my very first foray into fanfiction, so please forgive any mistakes, and for that matter, formatting issues.
As always, with everything I write, I try to stay in character as much as possible. These aren't my characters. All I'm doing is taking them out and playing with them for awhile. I'll always put them back the way I found them. Except for Baxter. I have reasons. Don't worry. I'd never kill him.
For my ER fic readers, sorry for all of the updates that are coming that aren't ER fics. LOL But hey. Feel free to read this one too. Maybe you'll give the series a try. :D

This is another HBD work, this time for my other Beta reader, queenincrimson! She’s amazing and fabulous and I adore her for everything she does. Including making the best Abby/Luka gifs ever, and doing them when I beg her for them. 😆
Couple of things. The horror movies are for Katie. Because I, like Abby, hate them. But also, Katie, like Luka, is shall we say....pop culture challenged...otherwise. So I thought it was a great fit for the fic.
The title is of course from Phantom. It doesn’t really have much to do with the fic, but is a pretty Luby-ish song. Also, I couldn’t find any songs that fit this fic that were Halloween-ish. And another also, none of the songs from Jesus Christ Superstar worked, Katie. 😂
