Summary
Being a legend in Night City had always been Jackie's dream, but it came for V anyways. And she left it all behind. Ultimately choosing to accept the help offered by the Aldecaldos nomad clan, V [with some help from her girlfriend Judy Alvarez!] assaulted Arasaka Tower, reached Mikoshi, and managed to get her body back. But, apparently she was only going to be sticking around for about 6 months, or so Alt claimed. To top it all off, V managed to piss off just about every major player on the way out. The FIA, the NUSA, Militech, Arasaka...
And that isn't even to mention the Fifth Corporate War brewing as Militech eyes the bloodied body of Arasaka like a hungry vampire and the NUSA looks at the remaining Free States as free real estate.
V's gotta find a way to stay alive, but how the hell is she going to do that? And more importantly, how much is too much to give up in pursuit of that?

It’s 1993. Jurassic Park has been in theaters for three months. Blockbuster is steam-rolling its competitors. JNCO jeans are primed to take youth fashion by storm. Green Day has yet to breach the bounds of underground punk music and go mainstream. The X-Files debuted a mere ten days ago. Amidst all of that, college has been just about as exciting as Vaggie had assumed—i.e. not at all—but a tall, musical blonde with a fondness for red is about to set it, and her life, ablaze.

Summary
This takes place a month after the first season. Lucifer has never once remembered Vaggie’s name—not when Charlie first introduced her as her girlfriend, and not in all the time since. What once felt like an annoying slight starts cutting far deeper, dragging up memories of Heaven that Vaggie has spent years trying to outrun. As the repeated carelessness finally catches up to her, Vaggie begins to spiral under the weight of old scars resurfacing. Charlie will always choose her, without hesitation, but that doesn’t make it easier to face the hurt caused by her own father. Torn between supporting Vaggie through a breaking point and confronting Lucifer’s thoughtlessness, Charlie fights to hold the woman she loves steady while navigating the painful rift forming between the two people who mean the most to her. Lucifer has to control his own struggles and fear and realize how his carelessness could cost him if he doesn't try to change. (This story is highly focused on Vaggie because Vaggie is my favorite character!)
