Summary
Harry did not expect a Slytherin, of all people, to believe him.
But at this point, he couldn’t care less.
He hates spending year after year trying not to die. He hates having to clean up other people’s messes and get nothing in return. He hates that people idolise him one moment, and then scorn him the next.
If this is what his life is going to be, he wants out. Screw whether he loses his magic or not. He just wants to run away and never look back.

Summary
Horologium Hephaestus Henry Black. A rotund and ridiculous name for the timid and small boy, the youngest of the Most Noble and Ancient House of Black. Horologium, or Harry as he preferred did not like his name, or, truthfully his family. His name had no mythos associated with it, a forgettable constellation, truly, lacking any character or symbolism besides a clock or pendulum. He scoured the library looking for anything remotely interesting about his name, and besides being named after a relative and a constellation, his name held no meaning. Making him the unliked and unmemorable member of his ancient and noble family.
OR
Harry is thrown back in time and born into the Black family as Orion and Walburga's third son. He has an unexpected encounter with a certain Dark Lord that changes his life forever. This is my new fic, and I will be updating it pretty regularly, so stick around and read it :D Thanks!

Ch 34
Very good
Harry was blind and a squib, secreted away at Grimmauld with mostly just Kreacher. He runs into Tom and is recognized as a Horcrux although he doesn't know how. They communicate and eventually Tom demands an arranged marriage from his parents. It's revealed Harry is supposedly a bastard of Orion's and a muggle, but it seems like he maybe just showed up as a baby on their doorstep. He was randomly hit by a green curse from the sky when very young. He has lightning bolt scars on his face. Tom adores him. Harry is very naive and sheltered and easily anxious. He has befriended Remus, who after being abducted and interrogated by Order members has officially sworn off his old friends. Harry dreams of his old life and has kept a journal. Being revived back to life by Voldemort has led to them happening more.
Voldemort is sure Harry is, inexplicably, a Horcrux. And his health, mentally and physically, goes downhill drastically with physical separation. Sirius is disowned at the will reading for his Uncle.
Harry finally explores and leaves the house. Turns out they're in Little Hangleton. He gets a job in the used bookstore.
Harry is attacked in a field and the disappears. The Dark Lord loses it and begins his rampage. His next memory is waking up in Harry's room on his 17th birthday. But he's still himself, with long curly hair. He eventually gets to Grimmauld and Remus and Kreacher recognize him. Severus arrives, even with the order distrusting him after Dumbledore's death. He gives Horologium all his memories to bring him up to date, including the truth about Regulus's marking ceremony killed him and the dark lord used necromancy. Horologium is very sad at what his husband has become, and also wonders what happened to Harry Potter.

Harry was sent to Azkaban around age 2 when his relatives tried to physically hurt him and some ritual the Potters had done took him to his next suitable Guardian which was Sirius. He has a slight lisp from having spoken parseltongue early. The other Death Eaters eventually grown to like him. There's a cherry tree growing in the center from some cherry pits Harry got the snakes to sneak to them.
Harry is a parselmouth through Lily. He has a passive auror like Voldemort. His gives people around him increasing reason. It helped reduce Sirius and Bellatrix madness. It even help Voldemort while possessing Quirrel to avoid the original mistakes of the book. He successfully gets the stone and kidnaps Harry and takes him to the Chamber of Secrets. But the snake eats him(and the stone) when she learns Harry can speak. Voldemorts aura produces awe, either in admiration or fear.
Harry has close friends in each house. He's ravenclaw, Theo Slytherin, Neville and a muggleborn Sophie in Hufflepuff. They're nicknamed the "Quiet Ones". The visit the Chamber with him later and learn all about it.
Sirius is cleared during a trial in October. Peter leaves the Weasleys over the summer before first year because of the news and by the end of the book it's revealed he and Barty Crouch Jr have kidnapped Mooney and are keeping him alive but locked in a room so they can use his safe house

Summary
Being in the middle of a dangerous war meant having to plan ahead for the worst case scenario, as both James and Lily Potter very well knew. And as such, they placed powerful safeguards to ensure their son Harry would grow up with proper guardians should anything happen to them.
…in their defence, neither of them would have ever expected what would happen to one Sirius Black after their deaths.
