Buck has always been good at pushing people away. When he was a teen, he used it as a way to hide the darkness that embedded itself under his skin. A way to protect himself from the harsh realities of his house. Maddie noticed him pushing away, the way he stopped hanging out with his friends, the way he spent more time locked in his bedroom. She never said anything, trusting that if there was a problem he would talk to her. He never did. She never found out about the scars on his inner thigh. Buck promised himself that he’d never let anyone see them. Then he met Eddie.

Summary
Sometimes Buck didn't know how to let go of his emotions in a healthy way. He learnt from his parents that bottling it up and hiding it from the world is easier than letting it go. His anxiety levels rose and rose until it came out in an array of dark colours across his skin. When it got that bad he hid away from the world. He knew that adding lines to his thighs was probably not the best idea, especially because his boyfriend liked to use them as pillows while watching movies. Eddie probably knew that something was wrong with Buck but hadn't said anything about it. It was only when things exploded that Buck decided that he should probably leave his emotions on someone's shoulder.

He didn't need people to tell him how to eat properly and to stop slitting his wrists. He knew it was wrong but the relief it gave him was enough to block those thoughts out. But then again, his doctor is another story. How can someone make having a mullet look so fine.

Summary
Keith and Lance weren't close. They coexisted to put it short. Sure, they had conversations here and there but he wouldn't consider them friends. Keith had eaten lunch with Lance before but it was when Lance was having a particularly bad day and Keith knew that Hunk, his best friend, was in the med bay with the flu. He liked to eat lunch with Shiro in his office. It was quiet and there were no distractions or people to make fun of his every move.

He didn’t even realize when he did it, but his fingers were covering his ears by the time all the conversations in the room died down, countless pairs of eyes searching for the source of the disruption. Shane felt like he would throw up any minute.
He pushed his hands harder against his ears when the waiter started apologising to him, his face painted in panic as he promised he didn’t mean to. He couldn’t have been more than twenty years old, and Shane would have reassured him if his teeth wouldn’t have been grinding together to the point that it made his jaw hurt. He needed to get away from there - before everyone would notice that he was seconds away from crying, before his body would betray him and make him slide to the sticky floor. But his legs just wouldn’t work.
“Malysh,” cooed a familiar, warm voice, low enough just for Shane to hear. All the lights and stares were blocked by a slightly taller figure and Shane trusted himself to make eye contact with baby blues. Ilya. “You’re dripping on floor.”
OR
Shane has a meltdown and Ilya takes care of his husband.
