“Hey, Adora.” Catra smirks, her surprise only given away by the familiar twist of her eyebrows. She looks warm and out of place with the cluttered kitchen behind her. “Did you know Razz here makes the best pie?”
“You know what pie is?” That wasn’t the right question to ask. She needs to know why Catra is here and if Razz is in danger, but it’s the first thing that comes out.
Catra rolls her eyes. “There was always contraband food around, Adora. You were the only one too high and mighty to try it. Stupid, considering you’re always starving.” Adora stares in disbelief, losing focus as she watches Catra’s black nails drum against the scuffed wood of Razz’s counter.
“Oh. I always wanted to give you the new things I tried.” Adora replies, trying to disguise the disappointment in her voice as she refocuses on Catra’s face.
Catra narrows her eyes and scoffs. “You should’ve thought about that before you left.”
OR
Adora and Catra start running into each other at Madame Razz's cottage. For some reason, they both keep ending up back there again. Season 2 canon divergence.

Catra’s here, in the Castle. She and Glimmer crashed a small, unfamiliar spaceship the Whispering Woods. No injuries. Glimmer’s fine. Catra was escorted to the spare room and placed in a magic containment circle.
Which is why Adora’s back here, in the middle of the night. To check that their prisoner is secure.
“Guarding me yourself?” Catra asks without opening her eyes, and Adora tenses. Catra rolls onto her back and stretches, arms reaching and back bending. She doesn’t look at Adora. Adora can’t look away from her. “Don’t you trust Sparkles’ spellcasting?”

“My eyes are up here, princess.” Catra says, her ears twitching in amusement.
“I wasn’t—! It’s the necklace!” She huffs. She tackles Catra into the wall, but the brunette is ready for it. She slips out of Adora’s grasp, ducking around her.
She runs after Catra, holding back a grimace while running with her heels. She’s dealt with worse, but not by much. Catra is fast, but Adora doesn’t fall far behind until they finally get to the balcony where there’s nowhere for her to hide.
“Why are you messing with homecoming?” Adora hisses as she lands another punch when Catra turns around, realizing she doesn’t have any other options. “Can’t you let anyone have anything nice for a change?”
Catra pins her to the ground, shoving Adora down. She pants to catch her breath, looking up at Catra who’s holding her down with her strong thighs. She doesn’t think anything of it until Catra leans down, pressed flush against her.
“I’m plenty nice, princess.” The words and Catra’s breath feathering over her ear leave Adora in a tailspin she’s never felt before, least of all with a villain like Catra.

That's a really good one. Even gave me belly tingles which is very rare °-° I really like how much selfrespect Catra has! How supportive and mature Glimmer acts and despite it hinting on a lovetriangle, it's something else entirely. I prefer monogamous endings, but this story is so well written, that it doesn't bother me.

“What are you doing here?” she demands. Catra silently wishes she was still asleep. “What do you want? Is this another ploy of you to distract me while the Horde attacks?” Catra huffs out a laugh.
“I wish,” she answers, sincerely. “No, I just got lost in the woods like a dumbass, and then Bow found me.”
After the battle of Bright Moon, Catra gets lost in the woods. A S1 fix-it of sorts.

Adam clutches his sides, and Adora can practically see his diaphragm shaking. “Oh my gods, ‘Dor, it really, really is.”
The conversation had started out well enough. Adora had mentioned she was going to bring a girl to his wedding if he was okay with it. Adam had said of course it was okay, and then for some reason mentioned how proud he was of her for figuring herself out. Adora quickly clarified that she was not, in fact, gay, and that’s when the laughing had started.

Adora loves her family. She really does. But they can be a little homophobic at times. So Adora comes up with the perfect plan: she's going to bring a woman to her brother's wedding. And who better than Catra, from her rugby team? After all, Catra is... basically perfect. If Adora were into women, it would totally make sense that she'd be into Catra. She's just an ally, obviously, but like... even Adora knows Catra would be a great girlfriend.
This prank is going to be perfect.

Adora finds herself a deserter of both the Horde and the Eternian forces; seeking refuge in the only place in the galaxy left to her, she struggles to figure out what kind of life she wants to lead on Etheria Station now that she isn't a soldier any more. It doesn't take long for Catra to show up on the station, claiming that she's defected from the Horde, but Adora can't shake the feeling that of all the Horde's covert operatives, Catra is the one most uniquely qualified to successfully pull off a delicate 'retrieval' of a wayward Force Captain Adora.

"It's the bitch that fucked up our last assignment. That firm has been going after too many of our targets so it's time to take out the competition."
Thank god, something productive to do and somewhere to channel her frustration with the whole mission. Adora opens the folder and stares. And stares. She then looks up at her friend and glares at her. "That's not funny, Glimmer."
She shoots Adora a confused glance. "What's not funny?"
She puts her finger on the huge printout on the front page. "That's—That's my wife!" It could be no other but Catra looking up at her, stone-cold serious in all black, looking how Adora's never seen her before.
Glimmer purses her lip. "Cute, Adora." She rolls her eyes. "That's not your wife, that's the competition. We need to take her out. She's not good for business."

She's made a place for herself there and everything is going great when she lands one of the lead roles of their newest play - until she shows up to the first rehearsal and the person cast in the role of her romantic opposite is Catra, who she hasn't seen since the breakup eight years ago when she left Catra behind to move across the country for a soccer scholarship.
But there's no denying the obvious chemistry between them when they get on stage, and the director won't hear of anybody else playing the roles.

Tempers are high and the risk of loss is low. They run into each other in the whispering woods and finally have the conversation they’ve needed to have all along. Feelings are hashed out. Feelings are hurt.. but then maybe they’ll find some common ground to stand on.

Alternate ending - This is my take on season 5 starting from the end of season 4. A couple changes to start off with - Catra doesn’t get teleported up to Horde Prime’s ship, neither does Glimmer. After their fight, Glimmer teleports back with Bow to the city to assess the damage of the latest battle while Catra escapes to the whispering woods.

Adora can barely breathe but she nods anyway, trying to focus on Catra's face as she starts to move. "That's it 'Dor. Don't overthink it." She's flattered Catra assumes she still has the ability to have thoughts that aren't about Catra's hips and smile, the light in her eyes as she moves. "Is this okay?" Catra checks in as she tightens her hold on Adora.
"Yeah I'm having a good time," She assures.
Catra nods, seemingly relieved. "So, there are a few ways to dance bachata. We can dance like this or we can dance closer."
"What do you mean closer?" She's wrapped in Catra's arms and she can make out the freckles on the bridge of her nose. How much closer could someone get?

Perfuma laughs indulgently. "I don't think little Frosta is quite ready for the task, but you'll be in good hands Catra’s great at what she does."
Adora nods, half paying attention as she finishes put the final lines of her health form. "Yeah, I'm sure." She mumbles absentmindedly. Just as she's about to return to her seat she hears someone clear their throat.
"Adora?" The woman calls out.
Adora just about drops the clipboard. The woman is gorgeous, all tan skin and dark freckles, hips canted to the side as she puts a hand on her waist.
The woman gives her a questioning look, her cute nose slightly upturned as she looks Adora up and down. "You are Adora right?"
Adora snaps out of it. "Yes! Right! Adora! That's me." Her voice pitching high as she puts the clipboard on Perfuma’s desk. She ignores Perfuma’s giggles.
"Alright 'that's me, Adora' my name’s Catra. Let’s get you some x-rays and then your cleaning." She motions for Adora to come with her.

"I don't know what you are up to, but you won't be getting out of here if it isn't in handcuffs with me." Adora regains some ability to speak.
"Is that a promise?" She grins openly.
