Summary
A night out ends in the worst way possible for Dennis. Dried blood is staining his clothes, neck sore in a way it never was. Trying to fight off sickness he feels from a—drastic event from the night before.
It doesn't help that each time he has a moment of weakness, there's the older attending arriving to take care of him.

Summary
"It's nearly done." I have to finish it, he doesn't say. Gabriel's eyes only showed himself back, no disappointment, no expectations for him, of him. Nicholas wished the older man would show what he really thought. It was easier to deal with disappointment, with anger and screams than whatever was happening in the moment. Its weight pulled at his chest, ribs curling in, penetrating whatever flesh was in the way. It hurt. It hurt to be seen like that.

Summary
“You know some good movies? I’m not gonna lie but rarely I have time to watch anything-thought I play some Valorant. Maybe we could watch some sitcom? Or some superhero movies- Thinking about it I don’t think I watched a lot of these…” he trailers off, mumbling mostly to himself now.
“At work,” He cuts off the other rambling, “I have more than enough time to watch some movies or series.” “

“You know that I-I care about you” Foolish muttered, "Nothing can ever come between us, isn’t that right?” Foolish reminded, a conversation from the early days, when they were still getting to know each other.

Dennis lives through it (terribly, in fear, in agony) for a year until his hand slips out of Jack's grip and he falls from the Fort Pitt Bridge.

Summary
Dennis bit the quick of his thumbnail, nibbling until he drags the skin to a hangnail. Until his tongue blooms with the taste of salty copper. He stops briefly, pulls away to inspect his thumb before ripping off the piece of skin once and for all. A piercing cry snaps his attention and his heart lurches forward, body moving on autopilot. Still, he's drowning.

Summary
Let it be known that Dennis Whitaker is an excellent sire. Even with a fledgling as difficult as a certain senior attending. No, despite the other misbehaving as easily as he breathes, Dennis is quite a reasonable man. If Robby wants to pretend that he’s feeding, Dennis will allow it for a bit. Only until the man looks gaunt for lack of better terms. And, while Dennis can forgive the man for being nervous, he cannot forgive him starving himself. Even if Robby hates the process of hunting. Of picking a poor unsuspecting soul and snatching them off the streets. Dennis is numb to it, he’s been doing it for centuries at this point.
Robby, in the grand scheme of it, is just a puppy in comparison. His first hunt went very poorly and he simply refuses to do it again, even with Dennis breathing down his neck. If Dennis needs to make sure Robby eats from his own neck and bags, he typically will allow it if it’s not anything to be concerned about.
This is not one of those instances.

Summary
Robby was taken aback, the omega usually smelled bright and citrusy, overwhelming yet addicting and Robby loved it when he worked close enough with Dennis to smell him.
Now he smelled as if a greasy peel had rotted in the bottom of the crisper drawer. Something was obviously wrong.

Summary
“Why does everyone keep looking at me like that?”
Robby’s mouth turns up at one corner, as if something about the question amuses him. “Probably because you’ve been walking around the floor all morning smelling like me.”
While out thrift shopping, Whitaker makes a purchase that shakes up the entire emergency department.
