Summary
Alastor has always been an opportunist. When a good opportunity falls into his lap like a red apple fell onto Sir Isaac Newton's head, he'll take it and use it to his best benefit. But the thing Alastor finds a little bit pathetic about himself is that, unfortunately, he IS also an Altruist. Besides, sometimes replanting that apple, making it grow and thrive, could bring him more benefits than gorging on it the second he gets it.
Written after s2e5 and s2s6 aired! So spoilers up to then, but not for future episodes!

Alastor first danced with the Devil—the king of Hell himself—after he committed his first murder behind a building at a dark alley.
"Oh, uhh, I haven't thought about that."
Alastor gritted his teeth through a tight smile. “Well, what do you like, Lucifer?”
“Like?” Lucifer said a little stupidly. “Uhm, I like ducks. Yeah, ducks! They're awesome!”
“Anything else?” Alastor coaxed a little irritably.
“I guess I like dancing too. And music. And uh—”

Or, five times Alastor and Lucifer dance as a form of their deals. And one time they do it out of mutual love.

Summary
In the aftermath of the averted war with Heaven, Alastor and Lucifer both have to adapt to the new normal. Alastor has his freedom but no idea what to do with it! Lilith is back and Lucifer finally has his closure: he's divorced. Yay?
The one constant for both of them is each other. They must face revelations about just what their rivalry means to them... and the desires that it inflames.
Or: Alastor falls first (and hard) but he drags Lucifer right down with him.

Summary
It's not a problem. It really isn't. A mere predicament, like one would expect as the bare minimum of a place like hell.
But there's an offensive sliver of space between them that Lucifer seems to keep, when they're not doing things that don't explicitly require touching, and he really doesn't know why. Alastor thinks he might die or go mad if he doesn't learn why and learn it soon. And maybe, just maybe, he'd like that space between them to be completely erased while they are at it.
Not that he would say any of this out loud. Ever. And so he suffers.

Summary
The demon looks him over thoughtfully. "Remind me, where are we again?"
Well, Lucifer has a vague idea of that at least. "Uh, Hell?"
He nods as if that confirms something for him. "And who am I?"
"My husband?" Lucifer asks hopefully, not really thinking through the ramifications of being wrong. He's never been great at filtering his thoughts before they spill out of his mouth.
A faint blush tinges the other demon's cheeks as his brows furrow. He seems frozen, but there's still a smile, so Lucifer must have come to the right conclusion!

Lucifer makes an assumption and Alastor, shockingly, goes along with it. Now that his memories are back, Lucifer is determined to figure out why the demon didn't correct him when he had the chance. Surely there are nefarious reasons at play, right?
