Summary
After surviving the wars of Terrasen, Aelin Galathynius thought her battles were over. She was wrong. When the Valyrian gods and the Old Gods of Westeros summon her in a dream, they offer a bargain: save the dragons, save Westeros, or watch it fall to ice and shadow.
She accepts and is reborn as Rhaenyra Targaryen, princess of a world she barely knows. Bearing memories of another life, mastery of magic, and a bond with her dragon that transcends time, she must navigate a court poisoned by intrigue, protect her family from shadowy assassins, and keep the most dangerous secrets hidden—even from her family.
But some things cannot be saved: people will die, the court will betray, and the Long Night looms. Yet with Rowan whispering in her mind, Syrax at her side, and Baelon as her mentor, this dragon queen will burn her path through Westeros—and make sure no one forgets the fire she wields.
Aelin is back. And this time, she’s not playing by anyone’s rules.

Summary
Following the Doom of Valyria, the Targaryens hid like cravens on Dragonstone.
But in the east, dragonlord Aurion Varezys declared himself the first Emperor of Valyria. Atop his golden dragon, he led a host of 30,000 Qohorik legionnaires into the Valyrian peninsula, where he disappeared with his army.
400 years after the Doom, a red comet heralds the return of the dragon.

Summary
“A meeting,” Tony doesn’t even bother to hide his incredulity.
“Yes.”
“With the Galactic Empire,” he attempts to lighten his own mood with the joke, but the response he gets from Ross makes the blood freeze in his veins.
“They call themselves the Unitary Galactic Communia, actually.”
If Tony lets his silence speak for itself, it’s only partially because his throat is closing up on him at an alarming rate.
“I know it sounds bad at first—“
“Oh no no no, not at all,” Tony interjects quickly, “this is wonderful news. A communia. A unitary one. Sounds very… organized. They must be people who know how to keep an army. Of galactic proportions. This is great, really. Not debilitatingly frightening in the least.”
...
Alternatively: the freshly pardoned Rogues have complaints, Tony is dead on his feet, and Steve has issues with the handsome alien lord who keeps offering Stark the literal universe.
