Ms. Noceda didn't believe him. She was going to hurt Willow and Gus. Hunter gasped for air, only now realizing he hadn't been breathing.
"No, no no no Ma'am it was me," Hunter said, voice ragged.
"Willow and Gu-" she started again.
Hunter dropped to his knees.
"Please, please don't hurt them Ma'am. I can take it, I'll be quiet. I swear it won't happen again, I-"

Summary
They sped upwards. The plan still in place, find Hunter, stop the spell.
However as they reached their destination and saw Hunter, head in the lap of a girl, with gold vains spreading across his body, the emperor above him, looking very, VERY ‘hurt’ the collector added one more item to the list:
Break Philip. FOREVER.
(To be less dramatic, Hunter meets the Collector at a young age, and the bond. The leads to a… different ending to kings tide. Yet somehow just the same.)

Summary
Belos, emperor of the boiling isles, leader of a coven, and crappy excuse for an uncle, was dead.
REALLY dead, this time.
Everyone was tired, and wondering what they would do now. But no one more then Hunter. Who - naturally - thought that everyone would want him to take care of himself. He was wrong. There reverse was true. Every single adult to meet him seemed to want to take care of him. He had -unateraly- burst into tears when they asked him to pick a parent. Because, of course, in his own words 'I didn't think ANYONE would want me!'
(Aka we figure out how Hunter ended up in split custody because HE LIVED WITH EVERYONE-)

Summary
Darius didn’t exactly believe in things such as fate or karma or the manipulation of higher beings. He was a rather empirical man and simply would not accept explanations for untimely or unusual events that did not boil down to pure coincidence.
However, the little intruder he found inside his home coupled with the strange circumstances that forced the boy to stay there longer than Darius would have liked might have made him start questioning his beliefs a little.
(Human AU. Hunter is 10.)

By his calculation, it had been approximately 28 hours since their arrival in the human realm, and Hunter hadn't eaten anything yet. Now, at 3:07am, he was so hungry it hurt.
Mrs Noceda had told them they were welcome to any of the food in the pantry or fridge, whenever they wanted. “Day or night!” She had chirped cheerfully. “Nobody goes hungry in the Noceda house.”

Takes place during Thanks to Them. Hunter has a hard time believing that people aren't trying to trick him with their generosity, and freaks the heck out. Angst and heartfelt conversations (and maybe a few shenanigans) ensue.
