It’s been 10 years since Sirius Black fell through the veil and the moment has haunted Harry since. Even with Voldemort gone, he still struggled with the loss, until one day he is assigned to investigate some strange magical activity in a city in the US called Gotham.
There he finds his godfather, alive and well and living as Lieutenant Jim Gordon… only he doesn’t have any idea who Harry is. Upon further investigation, Harry learns that Cedric faked his death and disappeared, living this entire time under the false identity of Bruce Wayne.

Of course, that was not to imply that Harry would do less than his utmost to woo the object of his sincerest affections.
