He stood alone on the rooftop, scanning the skyline for the brightly colored woman. He waited for two long minutes before he finally spotted her swinging toward him on the same cord she’d used earlier and she landed almost completely silent in front of him, holding what he realized might actually be a yo-yo tightly in her hands. He stood there awkwardly as she just stood there looking him over.
“Uh,” he said, bringing his hands in front of him with a clap as he rocked back on his heels, “Is everyone okay? There were a lot of things flying earlier.”
Ladybug blinked, “Wh-yes. Yeah, everyone’s okay…are you okay?”
“Other than the fact that I don’t remember being a furry, yes. The little ladybugs that were flying around earlier fixed me up,” Adrien confirmed.
When Adrien Agreste wakes up in the middle of an akuma attack with no memory, he expects panic. He doesn’t expect to learn he’s secretly a furry that goes around saving Paris. He doesn’t expect a magical rat named Plagg. He especially doesn't expect to find that his hero partner is one of his classmates.
But some instincts survive forgetting. And some feelings don’t need memory to remain.

“Exactly. Earrings. Just earrings,” Marinette sighed as she admired the dangly earrings with peony-shaped rose quartz. She loved how the stones flickered in the soft lighting of the room, reminding her of the way Adrien had looked at her with soft hesitance as he presented her with the gift.
“They reminded me of you.”
It’s been two months since Adrien gave her the earrings, and she has not worn them out in public. Of course, she tried them on for a minute, staring like a love-sick fool into the mirror. Then, an akuma alert blared from her phone, and she felt her stomach flip inside out as she rushed to take off the earrings and shove the miraculous on.

Rin and Obito have been taking care of his missions more and more these days. That’s probably a good reason to finally request being taken off active roster, considering Rin and Obito are figments of Kakashi’s imagination. Or coma. Or whatever drug-induced stupor he might’ve gotten himself into. No one’s complaining, not the higher ups or even his ANBU teams, which makes the latter two options very rather likely. Mainly since the last two options translate to: nothing that happens to Kakashi is actually happening.
(Or: Hatake Kakashi and his two (not) hallucinatory dead best friends.)

If it wasn’t Sakura literally changing the landscape of the field underneath Kakashi’s feet, it was Sasuke swinging a sword crackling with lightning, both of them subtly herding him towards Naruto’s hundred shadow-clones, all of which were so fast he could barely track them even with the sharingan.
Kakashi was starting to think his team definitely didn’t have the same problems as the others.

Her tone was enough to raise all kinds of dread. Marinette turned around again and saw Kagami standing there like a fashion model, the cocked hip and the diagonal leg, the arms dangling straight down the slide as if to hide that they were there. None of that was the problem, though, even though she looked terrifyingly good like that. The problem was that above the skirt, framed by the world's most expensive jacket, was a white cami with a tiny black bow. Not just any black bow, either. It looked the exact same as Marinette's cami, down to the laced lining around the neck and the tone of the colours.
"… What?" repeated Marinette.
