Summary
They say there are three types of love. The first one, a love for one's mother. A love so innocent it seemed to be unbreakable, it came from the months of holding the child under the mother's hand, a love so primal it sometimes felt unreal. Harry didn't remember that love.
The second kind of love, is love at first sight. It falls upon you without a warning and sticks to you like glue. It holds your heart in claws and breaks it like nothing in your life ever will when it disappears. It's like a storm, making you hurt and scared for your life, throwing you around your ship until you pass out, and then wake up covered in scared and s Harry wasn't sure he ever experienced that love. He didn't have time for this love.
And then comes the third type of love. It is wild, but steady in its craziness. It's like a mountain. Harry knew that kind of love.

Grooming is not unusual amongst the Galrans. To groom was to keep one’s coat well-maintained and cleaned, even after a grueling battle. Grooming is no doubt part of a Galra’s daily ritual. But grooming is considered so much stronger amongst mates. It’s known to bring affection. Often it would lead to scenting and even mating. It’s a reason why grooming is measured as symbolic and personal to Galrans. Something sacred and dear that should not be abused.
So, how was Lance suppose to know that? He was no expert in Galra culture.

But dealing with the fallout reveals a lot more than just Merlin’s secrets.
