Summary
The last straw was being a "good-for-nothing lackey". King Dice had done everything for the devil. He held nothing but respect for him, but after their embarrassing defeat by the cup brothers, this respect was no more. What stopped Dice from overpowering him and leaving? Nothing, and so it will be done. But Dice can't manage this alone. He might need an old acquaintance from his not so distant past to guide him in the right direction. But will the calling back to the familiar force Dice to abandon his hope for a bright future? Or will he never know what truly happened to his boss after he quit?
