It had been a week, and Alastor was still bleeding.“...Bambi," he started quietly, pointedly staring at the patch before flicking his eyes up to the deer’s face. “After everything we’ve been through together, can I ask you to be honest with me?"
Alastor’s ears went completely back and he straightened up, tensing like he was about to pull away but not completing the motion.
His eyes finally met Vox’s, defiant, but not angry. After a long, tense moment, he let out a soft huff, glanced away again, and gave a single nod.Vox lifted his other hand slowly, making sure he was being as obvious as he could be, and moved it in until he was brushing his fingers against the patch of blood- feather-light, but even with that he could tell it was still wet.
“Is there anything I can do?" He asked softly, squeezing his clasped hand again. “Will you let me help you?”---

Oddly enough, as he neared the kitchen, his sensors picked up an unexpected scent- they were nowhere near as helpful as an actual nose would be, but they were good enough for him to freeze in his tracks, because he recognized that smell.

Summary
- The Mutos and the Kaibas have been life swapped! That means Yugi and his grandpa run Muto Corp. and Seto and Mokuba live above and own a game store!
(Gozoboro was still Gozoboro. Instead of a rich asshole he was just an asshole)
- They have not been personality swapped! Yugi is still pretty kind, but he's very busy, running a company and all, and doesn't make it to school all that often. Seto is still kind of an ass, but a bit less emotionally stunted because he honestly just had a lot less on his shoulders growing up. No big weapons company to have to wrestle control of!
- Seto does go to school, and he and the normal gang (Joey, Tristian, and Tea) are friends! That was not his choice but he eventually accepts it
- Marik and Ishizu got swapped. For funsies :)
- The lives of Atem and Seto in Egyptian times were not swapped! Atem was still Pharaoh, Seto was still Priest with the RodAnd finally, the biggest thing and my personal favorite change:
- Seto has the Millennium Puzzle instead of Yugi. Atem is still the one in it. :)
