Summary
I'm reading a fanfic called Broken Nights by EmiyaShirou525 (you should 100% read it) when I came upon a comment talking about Bakugou (comment is found on Chapter 1).
Now their comment was valid for the story, it made me realize that so many people don't know the significance of Bakugou's character and why Horikoshi created him as the main character of the story.
Although MHA is all about Midoriya becoming the greatest hero of all time/No1 hero, the TRUE story is also about Bakugou. Its about his relationship with Deku and how together, they will be the ones to change the meaning of hero's (although it'll mostly be Deku XD)!
So I decided I wanted to share my very long comment I made (hopefully in it true original form (stupid character limitations))!!
I hope you enjoy and see the different side of Bakugou. This is not in anyways telling you to change your opinions/views of him, but to just show a deeper understanding of him as a character.

When Iida and Kaminari go to the dorm gates thinking Midoriya just forgot his dorm key they didn't expect to find Izuku a little ways away from the gate, clothes torn, bloodied, beaten, and shot. He's alive, but just barely and now Class 1-A wants revenge for their classmate and aren't going to stop until they get it. No matter who gets in their way and they aren't the only ones.

A pained groan distracted him from his thoughts as his attention was brought to Deku, who was blinking a few times.
There was a far away, unfocused look in his eyes, the green haired boy smiled softly as his eyes fell shut again, panic rising in Katsuki’s chest.
“Izuku!” His voice came out almost desperate as he moved back to look right at him, relief flooded his system as the green eyed beauty opened his eyes again.
Now where the hell did using his given name come from.

Following the fight against Lady Nagant, Midoriya Izuku, battered and bruised follows his feet to somewhere that he can get the treatment he desperately needs. Never once in his life did he think he'd end up in Bakugou Katsuki's bed in the middle of the night.
