“Please, Ahsoka, trust me.”
“I do trust you, Anakin.” Ahsoka swallowed, “But, although you believe me, no one else will.” She turned, looking down into the air traffic, the lights swimming as if through a veil of tears, “Now, it is time for you to trust me.”
“I do trust you, Ahsoka!” Anakin said, hand on his heart.
She met his blue eyes one last time, “I know.”
She turned her back on him.
“Please, Ahsoka!” Anakin screamed, raw and painful and grinding, and her montrals shuddered.
Then, she stepped off the ledge and through the door.
As she fell, the grey metal changed to green trees, and the electric lights turned to stars.

A version of "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much" in which Ahsoka, instead of jumping onto the passing ship, passes through a gate into Middle Earth.
This work is complete, but the ending is less polished than the beginning. Just be aware. The story covers the time period from a bit before the fall of Osgiliath to when Boromir leaves Gondor to go to Rivendell.

She freezes.
It’s not some tell-all about her secret demon identity.
She looks down at the photo, taken by some resourceful paparazzo, of Jinu waving goodbye as he slips out the back of her condo building. In the background, blurry but still obviously her, is Rumi.

“Yes, I speak Russian,” he snapped, defensive and angry. He knew that it had been a mistake to even try to be friendly with Rozanov. “Why? Do I not look Russian to you?” He scoffed.
“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
“Go fuck yourself.”

Despite an inauspicious start, when Russia’s Ilya Rozanov learns that Canada’s Shane Hollander is fluent in Russian at their first World Junior Championships tournament, it changes everything and sets them on a different course. Instead of being branded as rivals from the very beginning, Ilya and Shane start off as friends.
And, after all, a little friendly rivalry never hurt anyone, did it?

Ilya’s hand wraps around his bare wrist and squeezes. Shane barely stops himself from collapsing to his knees.
The pressure lights up every receptor of his touch-starved nervous system, wrenching a small, pained noise from the back of his throat. Every muted sensation comes flooding back so intensely that it almost hurts. He needs Ilya to hold him down until there’s nothing inside him but quiet. He wants to sink into him and disappear.
It takes Shane an entire beat to remember where they are. Fighting against the fog in his mind, he manages to drag his gaze up to meet Ilya’s.
There’s a slow-dawning horror and understanding on Ilya’s face.
