Summary
After Solas ended their relationship, Misyl Lavellan tried her best to distract herself with her duties as Inquisitor. They travel to the Frostbsck Basin to establish diplomatic relations with the Avvar and try to find the remains of the last Inquisitor. What they actually find is a dragon possessed by a spirit, imprisoned for 800 years by the still living Ameridan. Despite what the history books might say, he is a Dalish elf as well as a mage, and Misyl is desperate to learn all she can. But when Solas tries to save Ameridan’s life, he’s consumed by the spell.
Now racked with grief and regret, Misyl returns home to prepare for the final confrontation with Corypheus. Relying on Ameridan’s expertise, the two become closer, but even as her broken heart heals, they learn that Solas may still be alive, in the past.

Summary

Summary
Dhavunlean Sabrae has been wandering since the destruction of their clan, looking for a new home and purpose. On their way through the northern Dales, they stumble on the campsite of an unconscious elf, and out of a mix of concern and loneliness they keep watch over him until he wakes. But when he finally comes back to himself, he claims to have been killed by Fen’harel, before lapsing into the blank stare of Tranquility. With no better prospects, and unwilling to leave Felassan alone, they decide to try and help him find a way to reverse his condition. They have no way of knowing that this will be the decision that not only changes their fate, but possibly the fate of all of Thedas.

Summary
Nothing is inevitable.
When Fen'harel left Sahlinehn Lavellan at the eluvian, she wondered if she would ever see him again. He had taken the Anchor before it killed her, unfortunately necessitating the loss of her left arm, and told her that he would destroy the world to resurrect Arlathan.
Now she has to find another path for her lover or she and all of Thedas will suffer the consequences.
