Summary
Kara and Lena were US Ice Dancing gold medalists on the National and World levels, but just a year shy of the Olympic games, Kara accidentally dropped Lena, which left her with a few broken ribs. That led to her leaving for a solo career out of fear for Lena's safety and overwhelming guilt. Lena had to take another partner - Jack Spheer. Two years passed, and Lena and Jack parted ways, which led Kara to rethink her decision to leave her perfect partner and best friend. She spontaneously decided to return to her Ice Dancing days with Lena. They have only one year to be ready for the Olympic games, and Kara will do anything to achieve it and make amends for Lena for cancelling their trip to the past Olympics.
