    Summary

Emma moves to Storybrooke without knowing what to expect. Her only connection to the small town is her old acquaintance Aurora, who graciously sets her up with a roommate and a job at the flower shop she owns as a delivery woman. Emma soon meets Regina Mills, a regular client who gets flowers delivered each week, and finds herself instantly attracted but unwilling to admit it.

That is, until Aurora decides to take matters into her own hands, sending Emma to deliver bouquets with increasingly romantic meanings.

    Summary

Emma almost has everything. She's got a wonderful son, a beautiful, tender friend and co-parent, and a family she can count on. It was all she ever dreamed of, once upon a time. At times, she thinks she finally understands what authors mean when they end their story with: they lived happily ever after.

But the feeling always leaves her by the morning. Sometimes she thinks her real happy ending has disappeared somewhere in the past, somewhere in between the curses and forgotten memories. And now it is only a possibility lost to her memories.

    If she could go back...

(or in other words, season 6 emma goes back in time and accidentally makes season 1 regina fall in love with her.)

It's Emma learning and getting close to a guarded Regina who's the worst but also the best and has a soft spot for Emma.

The whole thing isn’t Emma’s fault, really. If anything is to blame here, it’s lack of coffee. And nostalgia. Nostalgia is a bitch.

After an unfortunate encounter with a Magic 8 Ball that's actually magic, Emma is stuck re-living the same day over and over until she can manage to complete just one simple, teeny-tiny little task: kissing Regina Mills.

    Summary

Emma Swan, ten years of age, has decided that she will not get attached to Foster Mother Number Twelve, her new temporary siblings, or anything else that comes with House Number Twelve. Foster homes are not loving, and soon, it would just be another number in the back of her journal, just another house, just another family that didn't want her.

Emma doesn't expect kindness from Foster Mother Number Twelve. She doesn't expect compassion from the girl she's meant to consider her sister. And Emma most certainly doesn't expect Regina, the self-proclaimed smartest girl in her class, to be anything more than the nerd she sits beside.

But maybe House Number Twelve is more than just a number on the back page of her journal. And maybe, just maybe, things aren't as temporary as Emma swears they are.

(or, the one where roots try to grow, young love can one day be more, and forever homes are real)

Cute, young Emma meeting young Regina.
Not a slow burn but a good slowish pace. Very wholesome actually.
