As things stood following the end of Inazuma’s seclusion, the country had set about reaching out to its neighbouring polities in a bid to reopen trade routes and re-establish a diplomatic presence abroad. Of these, restoring ties with Liyue was seen as critical if Inazuma wished to make much headway in its economic or diplomatic endeavours, as the wealthy nation dominated maritime trade over Teyvat's eastern seas. Thus, Ayato had not objected when he was selected to lead Inzauma’s delegation to its prosperous and important neighbour. He might not have been the first choice before the seclusion, but in the present day, with the way the other two Inazuma Commissions lay in shambles, the country was hard-pressed to find capable and high-born representatives. Kamisato Ayato had always been one to do his duty – and well, he would not refuse an all-expense paid trip abroad.
Especially when said trip would also give him an opportunity to investigate something bigger.
To investigate the "death" of Morax, to be exact.

Relationship… Heh, it wasn't like Tartaglia was able to comment on such things. After all, Zhongli had directly told him not to leave his room for this Lantern Rite, let alone be allowed to roam the streets with the consultant.

刃本该无视他，就像无视所有与自己无关的事物一样。可那个仿生人安静地坐在雨水里，怀里护着一只奄奄一息的小猫，平静地对他说：
“如果您不能收留我，能不能请您把它带走？”
本以为不过是短暂的交易，一周后便各奔东西。可当刃醒来时，死气沉沉的家已经被彻底改造，冰箱里塞满了按他口味精准采购的食材，散落的烟盒与酒瓶消失不见，连地板都被擦拭得一尘不染。而那个仿生人，正站在厨房里，带着天生属于“归属”的淡然姿态。
他原本以为，这只是一个损坏严重、无处可去的流浪机器。
但越来越多的异常开始浮现——他不该拥有如此精密的结构，不该拥有过分完美的面容，不该精准地符合刃的审美，不该在被问及制造者时沉默不语。
他到底是什么？

Their little pink-clad diviner takes one glance into his destiny before her face turns pink as well. Poor thing is scandalized. She casts about wildly, as if suspecting chicanery, before finally returning to him.
“What do you mean you’re here to fuck the general?”
“Jing Yuan,” Ren specifies dryly because, well, there are seven generals in Xianzhou.
In which Kafka tells Blade his objective in the Xianzhou-Luofu Stellaron mission is to honey trap Arbiter-General Jing Yuan, and Blade knows she’s joking… But he does it anyway.

Summary
Childe moonlights as a phone sex operator to pay for his bills. Zhongli is a grieving man looking for a stranger to listen to him, rather than help him get off. It breaks the growing monotony of his late night calls, but Childe eventually finds himself falling for the deep-voiced man he knows only as "Rex."
“You want to talk?” Childe asked, his brow furrowed. “So… what do you want to talk about, Rex?”
Rex seemed to take a minute to consider that, as though -- despite wanting to only talk -- he hadn’t had a topic in mind to talk about. He said, “Are you aware of the origins of sedimentary rocks?”

“You called a phone sex hotline to talk to me about rocks?”

A quiet moment hung between them. Childe thought Zhongli might hit him, and that wouldn’t be the worst outcome, brawling in his room. “I did not appreciate her as she deserved while she was alive,” he admitted solemnly.
“So, pretend I’m her. Just for the night, one night, you can have her back.” Childe curled his fingers into the front of Zhongli’s shirt. He hoped he sounded self-assured, not desperate.
