Each decision carries a cost, and the further she climbs, the more haunted by her past she becomes.
What follows is a story of war, memory, and ethical collapse, and reality itself begins to come apart.
And beneath it all, a former friend watches from the shadows—waiting to make her final cut.

Summary
Set in the fall of 1998 in the Seattle Washington area. Catra and Entrapta are living the dream with their 2.5 kids. Entrapta is a college professor in the mythical city Fryll Village in northern Washington state. Catra has worked extremely hard to rise through the ranks of Hordeco, an organization that provides software to the united states military. While their relationship is generally good, things get upset the day that Adora shows up as a special hire by Shadow Weaver, sending Catra down a spiral of thoughts that she thought she had put to bed.
Catra and Entrapta's relationship instantly becomes strained. Friction follows. Even as the author, I'm not quite sure if the relationship is going to survive or not o_o

As she grows, Entrapta forms a deep bond with a trusted friend, finding solace in their companionship amidst the chaos. However, as the oppressive regime tightens its grip on Darkland, Entrapta is forced to confront the harsh realities of her existence and the choices she must make to survive.
Amidst the turmoil and uncertainty, Entrapta faces a pivotal decision that will shape the course of her destiny. Will she succumb to the darkness that surrounds her, or will she rise above it to become the beacon of hope her people desperately need?Series

"Welcome to Coffeeland…" she runs through the spiel without any emotion this time. It's not like her supervisor cares about her delivery as long as she sticks to the script and isn't outwardly hostile.
"Are any of the winter specials fizzy?" the woman asks when she finishes.
Catra blinks. That's not a common follow up question. "No…? They're all coffee drinks."
The woman bounces on her heels, a trait Catra remembers finding endearing in someone else before she violently squashes that thought. "That's too bad. Can I please have a single shot of espresso and a vanilla cake pop?"
Catra walks around to the glass display and retrieves the dessert, placing it in a paper bag. She hands it over the counter and starts ringing up the customer. "Name for the order?"
"Entrapta," she says, then pauses to glance down at her name tag. "It's nice to meet you, Catra. How do you think you will die?"
