How he looks at Eddie when he thinks Eddie's asleep.
It turns out that being in a secret relationship with your best friend in an active fire department is kind of a life-altering situation, once it's suddenly not a secret anymore.

Includes MPreg, FemPreg, rambunctious (and remarkable) children, and eventually, a serious case of social adjustment issues. Better than it appears on the tin, or so I've been told. The series spans just over 20 years, all told, and will be going up over spring/summer 2014.

His new state demanded constant care, care that Raleigh felt obligated to provide, but even after moving Chuck out to Alaska in the hopes of getting him away from people who might become his victims, Raleigh isn't surprised to learn that looking after a vampire is not an easy position to be in.
