Summary

Life had settled down after the terror Sejm Island. Moira took a year off from college to recoup her strength, do some distance learning, and just tour her adopted country up north. And get to know her new sister. Natalia Korda now Natalia Korda Burton. Once a fellow victim of the last Wesker's mad plans and the T-Phobos virus and finally free to live her own life after years of pain and suffering following the Terragrigia incident.
Smart as a whip and smiling more and more as the days went on. Things had started to feel normal again. She wasn't even having nightmares anymore (these audio tapes at night really helped!)
But then Moira wins some 'environmental science' contest grant she'd only really applied to as a joke put on by a big futurist down in Nevada and that all changed. Natalie wanted to come along and she was allowed guest...

Sink or Swim (Or how Jill Valentine got her groove back)
Wesker had probably wanted to turn her into Tyrant, watch her rip her former friends apart... but the latent vaccines and her prior exposure to some strains more unstable than the base T-Virus led to complications. He'd scrambled to stabilize the situation, and his warped genius had even been successful. In the end she should be thankful, the T-Abyss's regenerative properties were the only reason she'd survived Chris's surgery by pistol. Though the worst of it was, when she thought back she wasn't even sure she was as mad about the unwanted change as what had come before.
At least now she looked like as much of a monster as being Wesker's minion had made her feel...

The rescue mission succeeded. Ashley Graham returned home and the Los Iluminados destroyed. However not all wounds are so easily treated and not all escape from their misadventures with just a few new scars, stories, and nightmares.
Ashley Graham returned home, though none but the BSAA and close relatives were aware of that for the next five years. Five years of seclusion, five years of tests and treatments and tiny steps forwards that were never enough. Even with all the resources of the BSAA, everything her father could give in and out of office.
It wasn't enough. It would never be enough to make up for what she lost, what had been taken from her...
Until she finally had the opportunity to spread her wings for a change...
