The two brothers towered behind him. The redhead spoke as his eyes formed little slits, face scrunching up. “Awh, we were going to feature that renaissance vase in the school auction.” Though, he hadn’t sounded quite as disappointed as Izuku thought. “Well now you’ve done it commoner the bidding on that vase was gonna start at 8 million yen!” The blonde spoke up too, backing away from the greenette.
“What?! 8 Million yen!?” Izuku started mumbling to himself as his head hung low, sweat formed all over. How many thousand yen is that? How many thousands are in a million.
He turned around slowly, knowing exactly how fate had him. Curse you destiny. “I’m gonna.. have to pay you back, aren’t I?” He gulped, choking down his own stomach.

Something that day breaks in Eli. Breaks in Hawk. This was a chain reaction, it was finally what he had been expecting. His truest horrors coming to life. Although it had haunted him in a few nightmares, daydreams here and then, never would he have heard it. It was like word soup, just flowing out of Demetri in his grasp.
He breathes once more, anticipating a sharp pain that never comes.
As for Demetri, the staggered breath escaping his lips, and a sharp pain that fills in his stomach. But it's not really pain, it's disappointment and a reminder. A reminder how he always needed help against Hawk. A reminder how he could barely fight. A reminder he wasn't even fourth, maybe not even dead last.
