Summary
Eddie thought the night guard job at the local zoo was easy money. He didn't expect to encounter homicidal parrots, nosy middle schoolers, greedy hotel tycoons, or being attacked by a beautiful naked dude in search of his magic cloak - and it's only his first week!
—
Or: The one where Steve is a selkie who lives at the zoo and Eddie needs to help him find his hide.

Summary
There's a new restaurant across from Eddie's game store - and that is just his newest problem.
Hot cuisine or whatever it's called isn't something he thought he needed in his life. He's more of a greasy cheeseburgers, cigarettes and dry cereal kinda guy. All things considered, the hip new place with its fancy food and its thriving social media account should stand for everything he hates.
Except the owner is making it really hard - pun intended.
Because Steve isn't a superficial, capitalist asshole. He's a nice guy with beautiful hair and great hands and a quirky sense of humor and great hands and a fantastic ass, and did Eddie mention the hands? For some reason, he can't stop staring at them, which is very unfortunate - especially since Steve seems to have made it his mission to introduce him to a more varied diet, and Eddie is developing some extremely inappropriate feelings related to food and cooking here.
Between burst pipes, DnD campaigns, annoying influencers, and the shiny new mall project that is threatening their neighborhood, it's all a lot to deal with, but he guesses he'll just have to suck it up - pun, again, very much intended.

Summary
Eddie doesn’t need to be told twice. Not a minute later, he’s settled back against the headboard of the bed, champagne sparkling on the nightstand and wrapping paper rustling in his hands as he opens the box in his lap. Inside are … more white envelopes, each neatly labelled in Steve’s handwriting. London. Madrid. Paris.
Nestled right in the middle is a singular red envelope that reads Open This First.

Summary
He narrows his eyes and digs deeper. The candles stutter and the shadows flicker, and Charlotte Harrington's hand clenches into the plush fabric of the armchair as her knees buckle.
There's something else, something pulsing in the space below her heart and-
Oh.
It's another soul.
It's tiny and weak still. Young. So very young. She probably doesn't even know that it's there, doesn’t even know it's growing within her.
And still.
And still, even though it's still new, can't be more than a few days old, its energy hits him like a ton of bricks.
It glows and shines and thrums with it, and its color isn't like any soul he has ever seen. Gold. Pure and bright and vibrant, drawing him in like a moth to the flame. The taste that tickles the tip of his tongue is sweet like honey. Heavy like wine.
He has never seen anything like it.
He has never wanted to possess anything as much.
---
Eighteen years ago, Richard and Charlotte Harrington made a deal with a demon, promising their firstborn child in exchange for money and success.
Now, it's time to pay up.
