He wasn’t scared of death, per say. If anything, by the time he came of age, he was barely even phased by it.
And at the thought of his own, well. He'd fight, given the chance, but when he died, whenever and however that may be, he wouldn't be afraid. A small, small part of him might have even welcomed it back then.
