This is a story set a little after Team 7's mission to the wave. It's the holiday season, and Kakashi need to prepare for Christmas!
Kakashi runs into Sasuke everyday leading up to Christmas, whether he wants to or not.He also begins to unravel the mystery of a memory, comes to terms with his love for the winter season, and may just find that he had far more parental tendencies than he once thought. Iruka says he's always had them, it just took a kid he cares about for him to find them.
My excuse for wanting to right something sweet and sad all twisted into the holiday season!

Jonathon is doing alright. Even though the silhouettes of Demogorgons stalk his dreams and guilt eats the outer layer of his stomach raw at night, he's fine. Jonathon Byers is fine, he has to be. As long as he can take care of his mom and brother and keep them safe from now on, he will be okay. He WILL be fine as long as he can figure out a way to make Will alright again. He's ready to put any problem that comes his way on the backburner until he can get his brother to smile like he used to. At least Jonathon Byers honestly does feel a little better when he has his camera in his hands. That has to be enough to get him through.

To be prepared for life would be to never live. Have you ever watched someone you know, out of no where become an unidentifiable person? Like a sunny day ruined by an ominous storm?
Have you ever watched helplessly as a cute animal goes rabid by the lightest touch, or a blooming flower suddenly wilts even though it's growing in the sun? What about watching a beautiful caterpillar go from changing into butterfly to some kind of creature so horrendous it doesn't have a name. It hurts when you see a person change and not for the better. Do you know what that feels like? I do. it feels empty and dank. inside you feel a void wanting to eat you whole, it's like an uncontrollable betrayal. There's one word that explains it perfectly. Cold. Cold like you've never felt. it's lonely and barely livable. I guess I don't hate change itself so much. What I hate, and wish I could escape...Is this everlasting winter the change has created. But I know I will need help.

October 31st was the one day a year Arian came home to be with him. Asher spent all year planning for this specific day.(My sister and I sold this book, and all the proceeds have gone to our Animal Humane Society.)
