“You’re annoying,” Dejun tells him, but his eyelids flutter closed as Guanheng spreads his legs and gets him dripping wet. “I hate you.”
“I love you,” Guanheng tells him. “I love you.”
It is a week later when Dejun comes home in the early morning to his parents dead in their bed. It is a week later when the collectors come for him and he has not even a penny to his name. It is a week later when he stands on Guanheng’s doorstep and tells him: I have nothing, I can’t give you anything, I am nothing.
It is Guanheng who draws him close. Who says, I love you, I love you, I will keep you, you don’t have to give me anything… tell me you love me, Jun, that’s enough… you are enough, you are enough… just tell me you love me and I’m yours…
