Summary
Nothing is hard for Light Yagami. Not keeping up appearances, not college courses, not the expectations of him and his future, not even being the number one student in all of Japan.
Someone had to do it; the hard stuff, the boring stuff; and it just so happens that Light is that someone. Besides, everything is already boring. He’ll stay in his dorm and work on assignments for hours just to get them done, and then he’ll spend his free time reading a book and calling his parents and sister to keep them updated. He’ll even study when his mom drills into him the importance of the task, as if that isn’t one of the older things he remembers being taught, only after walking and talking. He does his best because he has to, that’s what’s gotten him this far, it’s what’s expected. He does what he’s supposed to and people adore him as a result.
So when his insufferable roommate begs the question, “You aren’t out? It’s Friday night and a three-day weekend,” he feels a flip in his once tranquil mood. Light has never gone ‘out’ in his time since they’ve been roommates.

Summary
L nestles his thumb between his lips, just barely grazing it between his teeth. He fights the urge to actually bite down on it, but figures cleaning blood up is the last thing he wants to do.. Light Yagami—Kira—on the other hand..
“Say, Light-kun, does blood phase you?” He asks, voice devoid of his true thoughts and monotone as it most commonly is.

Summary
He’d thought long and hard about how to cheer the other boy up, and realized the answer had been in front of him the whole time. Christmas. Yuga clearly adores Christmas, or at least loves it to a degree to mourn not celebrating with his parents.
So Neito does something he never imagined he’d be doing for Yuga. He hops on the nearest train from U.A. to the nearest shopping mall, mentally making a list of all the things he plans to buy. He wants decorations, of course, but what’s a Christmas tree without some presents underneath it?

L was so sure they'd meet and, maybe, spend eternity together.
L was dying. And this dream felt so right. He was so sure of it. They have both written in Death Note, after all.
When he died, this dream brought him peace. He did not care that Light supposedly hated him. Or that Light tried to kill him. Or that Light was smirking at him like a deranged animal when Light was thinking that L, clutching at Light, lying on the floor, was dying.
He only cared that he'd see Light again. L killed them both anyway.
