She found a way to escape the clutches of her ‘destiny’ and rewrite her own. And it took was for her to quite a twisted wonderland.
Note: The ‘MC’ will not exist here. There is a bit of a time difference between TWST and EAH, as someone *cough* Headmaster Grimm *cough* wanted TWST to disappear. So, instead Raven is the ‘MC’.

Rosie had been playing the Overlord game for quite a while. She knew the ins and outs, what was allowed, what wasn't, and what fell in that grey zone where one wasn't supposed to play but if you didn't call too much attention to it, you'd get a pass.
Deals with living human souls was strictly against the rules. What she was doing with answering summoning calls by living mortals was absolutely a capital offense that would have her wishing there was a way to kill Fallen if she was caught. Summary
A mark appears somewhere on a person as they grow up, usually blurred until puberty, though some will take until their late 20s to become clearly defined. It is said the mark represents the other part of your soul.
In turn of the century Louisiana, a colored child of mixed parentage was born with two marks, one on the back of each hand. While not entirely unheard of for there to be two and at birth, it was a rarity enough to have word quickly spreading around the small town. Even more rare was that both marks were fully defined, not the usual blur. One was completely indecipherable, a strange thing full of overlapping circles and lines that almost seemed to twist if stared at for too long, nausea settling at the pit of the midwife's and her assistant's stomachs. The other, most damningly, was the clear mark of the devil.
