The city that was changed forever on the morning of January 3rd, 2011, when it was transformed into an alien, post-industrial ecosystem. An ecosystem filled with strange technology, stranger creatures… and sudden deluges of rain that crushed anything unlucky enough to be caught outside.
Missy Biron, ward of the State and former member of the now defunct Brockton Bay Wards program, is one of the Parahumans who stayed behind to support the containment force. Unable to move on, unable to let go of what was taken from her, after a freak accident she finds herself trapped inside the site. With a new guide and a lot of luck, she might just be able to discover just what happened to create the Quarantine Site which ruined her life.

oh dear, QUEEN is a queen? toxic relationships hit the hardest 😔 could have ended on chapter 11, am glad that it didn't. All I can imagine is that these children are going to have to live with that for the rest of their lives while the player is just going to load a save point and find a way to win in another timeline. Like this is so tragic, even in their victory, 2 people died, noelle lost her finger and the entire community suffered. Their entire view on reality has been questioned and if they continued existing after this is really up to our interpretation. Even reading this feels wrong, I, like the player, read, experienced in my mind this happening, and thus the characters suffered, when i could have just not opened the fic. This was beautifully done

Summary
Izuku remembers what it was like to be considered quirkless. He remembers the staring, the pity, the apathy, the taunting, the insults. It was miserable.
Izuku knows how people with dangerous quirks have to be careful. The slightest twitch of a finger, a glance in the wrong direction, or an unintentional reflex could spell disaster. It is exhausting.
Izuku has seen enough and heard enough to know that not everyone is satisfied with the quirk they were born with. Some are too boring, too weak, too useless compared to the flashy quirks that their society prefers. He can't fault them for believing those things, even when he doesn't agree with them.
Izuku lives in a world where a person's worth is determined by their quirk. While he may not be able to change society's problems, there is something he can do: take other people's quirks and give them away. It's a strange quirk to have, but he's found a way to help people with it. And if he can help people with his quirk, then it follows that he should try to do as much good as possible.
At least, that's what Izuku believes. Some people don't seem to agree.
